You Will Soon Change Your Line Of Work?
Apr. 28th, 2001 12:58 amHooray, finally done with yet another day of java and javascript, its quite amazing how it can eat up time. I got to work at 11am today, which sort of sucked, but I stayed late, as per what usually happens when I'm late getting into work.
I'm actually still hungry and I ate a foot long subway sandwich for lunch today, which was really nice, but I wish I hadn't had to be in front of the computer, which is slightly ridiculous.
I've introduced yet another person to the joys of creaming soda flavoured jolt cola. Its sort of addictive like Oreos - America's favorite biscuit-flavoured sugar! Yet more people are going to be wandering around with teeth full of cavities if I have my way.
Apparently there's some law against selling caffinated drinks that aren't cola-based beverages in Australia. I'm not sure if there's actually any truth in that. Have to check it out.
I'm lying on the couch watching the boys play Counter Strike. Its pretty cool. :) I can see 3 screens from here. We've filled up the switch as well. Geeky! I get to hear these funny comments like "No, don't shoot back, its all okay now!" etc.
I don't understand how someone can possibly dislike wheaties! They're sort of yummy, and apparently good for you. I do understand the objections raised by Outlander against half-fat milk. But I still like it. Its definitely better for coffee.
Also this entry has the rather... *ahem* unusual distinction of being yet another slightly tipsy one. I've been lying on the couch for awhile now drinking mead out of a goblet. Probably highly silly but anyway.
I've leeched something on the order of 20meg of Milla Jojovich pictures to my outpost at home... I'll have to do something with them other than stare admiringly. Hrm. DivX'ing The Fifth Element seems like a very good idea at this point. :)
