Good Morning Vietnam... uh... Journal.
Mar. 7th, 2001 08:10 amI wonder how many massacres have been cause by people not being able to breathe through their noses?
I only ask because I haven't been able to properly breathe through mine for just under 24 hours now and I'm almost ready to rip someone's head off.
I'm going to buy some more RAM and a decent CPU today. They're going cheap, which is a good thing. I'm sick of the dodgey Celeron in this machine overheating, and the fact that its too slow with only 128 meg in its single lonely DIMM slot.
Funny, I remember when I built this machine, it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Now its almost junkable. :)
I wonder how much I'll get for the CPU after I sell it? More than likely the cooling equipment on it will be worth more than the CPU anyway... strange. :)
For some weird reason I feel strangely at peace with everything in the world right now. Funny this, because at the moment I live and die by a piece of cable, and I have a deadline that's due in by the end of the day and I don't know how I'm going to make it. :) *shrug* Oh well.
I'm so moving my desk today at work, the florescent lights shining right into the top of my monitor are starting to sap my will to live... I'm at the point now where I'm just going to do as I please, and screw convention. Lets see how my managers like unrealistic expectations.
I only hope they can live up to it as well as I think I have. They'd better...
I know where they live now.
Henna tattooing soon, please e-mail me with design suggestions! :)
