I cancelled ALL the appointments!

Why?
I'm too concerned seeking help will result in wasteful expenditure of resources I can little afford to squander, while exposing myself to radiation, discomfort, and embarrassment, all of which fails to resolve into effective diagnosis or subsequent treatment.
Why?
That's what's happened too many times before to recount, so even though I made appointments while in pain and wanting help, after having time to consider what I was doing I realised I'd better not get back on that pointless merry-go-round.
