Most of the time, it takes me ages in comparison to even glacial slowness to arrive at 'the' point of a conversation. Consequently it takes me ages to tell a story, and I find it irritating it if someone spoils it halfway through.

For instance, I had to skirt around complementary topics with [livejournal.com profile] vodun for almost two hours before the ideas he raised in the first 2 minutes had gelled enough within my thoughts for me to output some useful advice.

I'd like to think, and indeed I really hope this lessens the chances of garbage in - garbage out. :)

GIGO? no way!

I know what you mean, I oftimes do the same or similar thing too. I'll think or ramble about an issue, skirt the edges, explore it from various viewpoints, size it, weigh it, kick it's tyres, and then suddenly arrive at an "intuitive" decision. Intuitive in that I totally ignore the fact of the previously mentioned skirtings, and feel I've arrived at the conclusion by some process of osmosis, the universes knowledge seeping in surreptitiously through my brain tissue of it's own volition.

Once, I couldn't even spell thunking, now I do it! (relates to my army reserve stint I did in what feels like a previous lifes timeline, "once I couldn't even spell soldjah, now I are one!) Damn, there's that over explaining portion of me again! hahaha
