How can we show what it means to be human?
how we display our defining images define us
when projection arrived everything changed
we gathered at the screen and saw the world
we gathered together by the millions to watch how it changed
then came television and everyone went home
the experience of the world became private, familial.
Then came the internet and revolution!
we could find everything in new places, form new communities
but our experiences became individual, solitary.
That which felt real was virtual
nokia says our experience changes again forever
when the screen fits in our pocket...
Will we go back out into the world?
do what we want, where we like
play what we want, when we like
share our inspirations with everyone we care about
carry our sense of purpose with us, like a samurai.
The end of something and the beginning of everything?
