There is no deeper meaning.

I've been thinking about the future, and the idea of a millennium clock which ticks once a year appeals to me.
Especially if you could make it run on internet time.
Anyway, it seems that whoever wrote about the clock idea for The Long Now Foundation must know David Lynch, and I believe that he drew this as his design for such a clock.
*chuckle*
Goes a long way toward proving that there is no deeper meaning in some crappier movies, due to obvious insanity. :)
