computer games, music and all that jazz
Feb. 25th, 2003 12:56 amI'm sitting here playing ICO and listening to the soundtrack a little more than I usually endeavour to pay attention to music within games (the soundtrack to this game is incredible by the way, the music is overridingly classically-influenced guitar). I just realised that if I did a bit of practice then I could probably play whats going on here, even the flamenco parts. For this reason I'm beginning to think that it would be a profitable idea to get my guitars to the place where I live, and possibly in the future invest in some sort of recording device I can connect to a computer.
As to all that jazz, I've seen the new movie musical Chicago! It was entertaining, but as succinctly as
ancksunamun put it; "Its a porn flick, there's lots of girls dancing around, short of clothing." Mind you as a comeback remake kind of film its done well, and certainly held my attention.
Also I've noted that it appears I've posted a lot tonight... this isn't the case, this is just a posting queue happening, I think. So just to clarify, I went around to isi's place this evening, where I saw many people. Digi's finalllllly gotten out of hospital which is something I'm happy about, and so is Severin. This makes it Monday on planet chell. I am spending tonight at home, which means an internet connection I can download and upload things on, woot, but there's no gamecube and there's no babu. I guess thats okay cause I am supremely capable of keeping myself amused, but I'm getting the feeling that its in some hidden way keeping me from having feelings of loneliness (or that could be rising to the surface in the fact that I've remembered that I posses a livejournal and should be writing in it).
In other news, the hard drive on Alia's firewall keeps chattering, so I think I'll send him some email about it...
