Ah that Buderim Acid...
Feb. 12th, 2001 06:09 pmMy weekend ruled lotsly. We went up to the North Coast for my friend's 21st birthday party, that was mega-fun. :)
While we were driving up, due to the roads tripping us out, Outlander and I decided that the Ginger Factory in Buderim actually makes Acid. We were talking about it at the party and people thought we were strange.
In the morning to recover we sat in a spa for about 2 hours. That was even more fun, except that it saps the will to live, and when you try to get out, you slip and slide back in.
45 minutes later, someone says "Hey, we're still in the spa..."
Maybe the acid hadn't fully worn off.
Monday back at work was even more fun, jokes about 'UnderDeskCam' never cease to be funny. Also I say that if an office novelty tune is funny the first time, its funny EVERY time. You may dispute this with the management.
We have corporate sponsorship for our Red Eye habit! This is pretty score but it means that I'm hyped up enough to make speaking in complete sentences almost impossible before lunchtime.
Sushi Lunch! Funski! I'm bringing in the hat tomorrow and another desk toy or something.
Right now I need to stop looking at a computer screen... maybe I'll go watch TV. :)
