Pants, Bundaberg Rum and Hangover Central

I went over to my *new* neighbors house last night and became amazingly drunk. I don't know how it happened! Somehow without drinking anything I just lost consciousness!
I think there was too much rum involved. Although I do know that my stomache will no longer accept Cap'N Morgan's. :)
That stuff is foul. Worse than Rumbora even - although that's a vaguely nice cheap drink. Even though its a cheap version OF an already cheap version of Malibu (Bombora, if you don't know this already).
I think I was pretty splattered, since I sort of was wandering around feeling really seedy and sick this morning early. My word order still hasn't come back to me.
I have to go to Roma St. and the Valley today... various things.
Also this place has turned into a hospice (don't hit me you invalid) - as my friend who was in a car accident is recuperating here for the moment.
On another note - Medicare have gone extra-Nazi on their fulfillment of scripts and stuff; now you need a medicare card (proving you're a permanent Australian resident) to get the standard government rebate on medications. So too bad if you're on a visa and need some panadeine Forte.
Although you could use the Mersyndol to numb the pain in your wallet, I guess.
I'm currently in contract negotiations with a new(ish) company in Taringa to do some website design and backends for database manipulation. I'm going to have to pull the hard yards on some ASP I think. *sigh* - Oh well at least it won't be coding in XML. :)
At the very worst this job will be fun - I was accused of being geeky last night when I went off about how awesome the new hardware they just got into their offices is. Oh well I guess there's hope for me yet. I demand salvation through my sushi addiction!
Speaking of which, there's a sushi lunch on tomorrow... I should make a booking for that now, since there's liable to be a lot of people there.
Oh yah, one final thing is that I was up on the coast yesterday doing networking stuffs with Snoops - and I left my shoes at his place on the way back... lalala SMS. :)
I will move from here as soon as my legs work again!
